engine accent paint

you guys know any accent paint that's safe to use and withstand high heat and shit? where can i get them.. and what will i need to paint it myself.

They make high temp paints that can be bought at any hardware store, or automotive store. any of which will work in your engine bay.
For prep, clean it as well as you possibly can, rub it down with alcohol, and maybe even scuff the surface slightly dpending on what it is. then spray away.

so it's the spray kind? i thought you need a paint brush LOL!! ok.... is there any specific places that i can and cannot paint? or i can just go crazy picaso style and go wild with it.

spray looks better. they make a brush kit that many people use on thier calipers and it looks good. but if you brushed your valve cover it would just look bad. Go with the spray. You can paint anything that doesn't need to breath (air filters and such haha) other than that I can't really think of anything that would be a problem.
You might not want to paint things like headers either. they just get too hot. But I'm sure you weren't planning on goin THAT crazy with it. Didn't picasso have ghoneria? and thats why he was so fucked in the head? just wondering

shouldnt cost much more then regular spray paint maybe 3-5 bucks a can
