I have a 93 Tbird Lx.The drivers side window goes half way up then stops with a load thumping noise,then I have to help it the rest of the way

sounds like it's jumping off it's track.

Or, the crane is bad.

Take the door panel off, and see what is amiss.

Yea,its the track.Its probably off a little bit.We had to take off the door panel and adjust it in my buddy's explorer.Easy fix.
