ok, i have a b16 dropped into my civic, and it is now time to do the suspesion for autocross. I do not want to lower the car a tone, a little would be nice, about and inch, but not alot more. I have done some research and it seems that the eibach proline springs seem to be one of the best. I just need to know what you suggest to be running for a spring and strut combo, i want to do the entire setup while i am doing it. Please lemme know what you would suggest for that size of drop, and for awesome track suspension.
Thanks, Evan
PS, i am not to worried about ride quality, as i have the hasport race mount kit and it is as loud as fuck.

tokico illumina coilover springs and strut/shock combo set up... eibachs are good too... depends on $$$ Coil overs you can adjust your ride height to what you want exactly... some people argue that they never are exact, but if you count the notches and take your time it can be done... sure beats getting springs that just slam your car.

see that blue thing in the middle of the spring? it's called a strut... and you can buy it as a combo instead of just springs and struts separately... some people say struts and others say shocks... I know that what we use are actually struts (McPhersons are stock) and shocks are "dampers" just to be technical...

I would recommend Ground Control(Eibach springs) coilover sleeves with custom rated springs. Along with Koni yellow struts. Or go with true fully adjustable coilovers like H&R, Toda, Tein - http://www.modacar.com/products/Honda/Civic/MODACOI/ If you can afford those options standard lowering springs & adjustables struts will do. I don't rec. Sportlines, look into Neuspeed or H&R - www.tirerack.com when lowering more than 1.5-1.75" Tokico & KYB make not length struts, if you want the most performance go with Koni yellows.
