I want to buy a Beama i've loved these cars for so long, i currently have a nissan 300zx but cant be bothered spending money on it, i want to buy a 2nd hand Bmw but i dont want it to drain my wallet. I would like to know what you all think is the best series, model and year to get that has the looks and the power but not to expensive. I would also love to know what you think i should do with it when i buy it. Im thinking of lowering it, 18-19 inch mags, exhust and of course sound system. i want my dream car to happen...ive been waiting to have enough cash for ages and now i do but i would like to know what all u guys recommend.
Thank you very much.....any insight is welcomed

about $30,000 Australian. But thats just for the car not the upgrades.

Make sure you get a euro version but if you want a relatively inexpensive one to modify get an mid 90's M3 with the Euro version of the S50 engi ne with the 6 individual throttle bodies, and you will have a blast. Or if you can somehow come uopn a M5, or 8-series go for it. The 540i 6-speed is also a blast. Or for the ultimate lil roadster get a m3 Roadster. Nothing is more fun modified if you are unlike I am and under 6'4".

If you don't have a problem importing from Japan sometimes you can find some ignorantly good deals.

Cheers Mate and good car hunting
