Ok, heres what i got: 2002 accord ex automatic, with the ulev vtec engine. heres the dilemma-i cant decide if i wanna work on that, or swap in an h22. i could just save 4k and work on my engine, but its still SOHC. and it seems a waste of labor costs to swap in a tranny and not an engine (unless u think its not much of a difference keeping the auto, let me kno :P) so which should i do, keep the sohc 150 hp engine, or swap in a dohc 200 hp engine(keep in mind i plan on turbocharging whichever one i go with).... thx in advance

yea but keep in mind u would also have to swap in the H22 auto. unless u wanna spend alot more on a auto to manual swap.

i'd stick with what i got. 50 hp can be made up in a good cam. tons of SOHC hondas running around with respectable times. don't buy into the myth that SOHC aren't as tunable as DOHC. for 4-5000$ (price of h22 swap) you could make that SOHC kill an h22. is 50 hp worth 4000? Cam, port n polish... heck a basic port n polish will give you round 20hp... you're halfway there.

now after that being said, i'm turning my SOHC f22b1 into a DOHC f22b1 engine.. lol but more for an experiment than lack of SOHC support.
