Engine rebuild?

I was driving around in my four banger isuzu rodeo and was wondering if there was any way that I can increase the power output of the engine. I was thinking about those "tornadoe's" that supposedly increases mileage and hp at the same time. I don't know if they work or not. Also I was also wondering if an engine rebuild would be worth the money or the trouble. Anyone have ideas on I how I could increase power without burning a hole in my wallet?
I've looked up the higher power V6 engines but those cost about $1500, not to mention the installation. The total would cost about $2000. I'd rather just get a new car in that case.
Anybody have economical and practical ideas on how to increase hp? Any help will be appreciated.
FYI: I have a 95 Rodeo with 108k. How do I know how many liters my engine is?

You have a 2.6L
you can put in new headers, cone filter, and a new cam shaft, and muffler.
headers, filter, and cam can be bought at: pureisuzu.com
and the muffler you can purchase anywhere

My Brother bought a "tornado" thinking it would do all sorts of miraculous things for his Chevy truck. What a waste of money. If there was any gain in mileage or performance, it was negligible. He ended up removing it because he didn't like the whining noise it made during hard acceleration.
"If it worked, they would have installed it at the factory".

Do the stuff Ryan suggested, you will be a lot better off.
