V-6 engine.
My friends car when shifting from 1 to 2 with higher rpm the car feels like it is spinning the tires. Even though this is on dry blacktop. I know the tires are not breaking loose.
Could this be a tranny/engine mount??
Has anyone else seen this???
I searched, but was unable to find anything.
Help me Rhonda!!!!

the stock goodyears aint that lovely in terms of traction :( .
take another car and your freinds and see if you can actually see anything out of line when he shifts into 2nd in the higher rpm.

it may be slightly breaking loose between shifts, my 3100 with chirp into 2nd when its cool out and it will spin like crazy when the ground is wet.

The thing about it is the tires are not making any noise. No chirping or spinning noise what so ever.
I thought it might be a mount of sometype causing the problem.

maybe, its hard to diagnos without driving the car. BUt a bad mount will usually end up killing power on takeoff and shifts because the engine will move excessively therefore wasting power.

I need to pop the hood the next time I am around the car and see if the motor is moving either in reverse or forward when you give it gas. That should elminate the mount question.
I just wondered if anyone had experienced the same issue before.
