Want rims but....

I have a 2002 Daewoo Lanos that still has about 2 years left on the basic warranty (powertrain). I want to buy some 16" wheels and new tires for it,(most likely from tirerack.com) but I am worried about voiding parts of the warranty. I have also heard that if I use a wheel and tire package that is different from the stock one, I will be risking damage to the suspension, steering. etc. I really, really want some new wheels but I dont want to end up paying lots of money to fix anything that happens!! I have already done alot of work to the rest of the car, all it needs it new wheels.

just keep your old 1's incase you have to put them back on for something, but there souldnt be a problem

Hey I have an idea, sell the Daewoo and move up to a Kia, or if your feeling rich a Hyundai.

Alphalanos, buy the wheels and just hold onto the old ones for the same reason mospeed1 said. If something breaks, which it probably won't due to the wheels, just put the old ones back on.

Hey man I have upgraded, I also have a 2004 Corvette, with a stage 4 racing package, so ill say what i want, Aight. Plus this fool was talking s*** on me because I got an "86" (1985 Corolla GT-S), as well as on my Eclipse and my Vette.

i never said anything bad about your cars. all i said was to work on the eclipse.........loosen up
