Yea, I saw it like a year or two ago and re-watched it a few times since. It is safer, b/c there aren't as many idiots driving. It's far more expensive to get a license there, and I bet the tests are a lot harder or more involved.

It's a great show though.

It's safer than American roads because it is maintained much better the roads here are. In America, money goes towards war. In Germany, money goes to fixing things that will benefit, not harm, people by making them safer. Houston has some of the worst roads I have ever seen. In some places there are potholes nearly the size of small cars. :nono:

Yes we do. But go to Lousiana, they've got some shit roads as well. Some may be even worse.

Don't remind me about Louisiana roads. I was supposed to go this weekend with my family, but my sister started bitching and saying she didn't wanna go and if she doesn't get her way, she throws a fit. So, we stayed here and went to Galveston instead, which had me bored shitless.

I saw that show last week, and I found it fascinating. Some of the interesting facts: they have variable speed limits when there is construction or big cities; major fines for tailgating; "hidden" police cars that are always travelling on it who catch bad drivers; FINES VARY IN PRICE ACCORDING TO YOUR SALARY - one millionaire was once caught for tailgating and recieved a $20,000 fine in the mail.

The people who haven't seen the History Channel special may find this interesting.
