Been a while since I started a thread up here, but here goes...
I'm 18 and still stayin at home with my parents tryin to get myself going in this profession and hopefully get some money saved so when I do leave home, I can hit the ground running. Well, lately, all the money I've made has been going towards gas for my car, and helping to pay the bills here because my dad isn't working. He's claimed to not be able to handle the pressure at work...anyways, even though he's not working, he's never home...he sleeps here, but that's it. This is the reason I've been thinkin he's been cheating on my mom. That's bad enough...that makes me hate my own father to begin with.
Now, on the note that I've been working my ass off doing odd jobs to add onto my choice of profession's pay (which isn't very good, but that's ok)...Mom found over 200 bucks that my dad's been keeping away from us. Some of you are probably lookin at this and sayin, "you're bitchin about 200 bucks?" It's a little different when you're taking money you aren't working for, while at the same time you family is struggling to pay the bills.
Anyways, mom confronted him about all this just a couple hours ago...after about 5 minutes of arguin, he packed his things and left, and I hope the worthless piece of shit doesn't come back. Just needed to get it off my chest... :cya:

Man, that sounds like something that happened here.
I live with my Dad and uncle now, for one my dad has really serious back problems and wasn't able to help take care of me at the time and so my uncle moved back in. well In the mean time my brother who lived with us then started working making somewhere between $5-600 a week, not bad for an 18 yo. Well, my uncle got into a car accident and messed his neck all up...so he couldn't work and wasn't able to collect Workmans comp. just yet...well anyways my brothers always bitchin' about paying all the bills and blah blah....he ends up moving down south (Orlando) to work at a walmart and now is in a hell of alot of debt due to borrowing money from banks and check places...but everything turned out for the best where i live now...i was only 14 at the time so i couldn't get a job, and what odd jobs i did i gave the money to pay for bills and food. but now im 17 and have my own job with 3 cars that i can drive so its all good:) it'll turn out for good so i wouldn't worry for a while.

Oz always has the right advice! At least he spices up the topic no matter what it's about.
Hope things work out for you.
