97 civic ex performance mod advise?

i have a bone stock 97 ex and i would really like to do two or three
performance mods to make this slug a little faster. i was thinking CAI and new exhaust for starters. any suggestion would be great.

Dude, I once bought header on ebay made out of snow. Shit that damn thing didn't last five minutes. Stay way clear of those things.
