I want to put 295/50R15 tires on a 10 inch wide cragar rims with 4 inches of rear spacing. I know the rear tires wont be an issue, but i was wondering if these tires would work on the front, or if there is anyway to make them work. At a glace, its looks like they would do a hell of a lot of rubbing, but im not sure? Any answers?

I've got a 94 s-10, with 235/75/r15xl and I have a slight rubbing on the right side when the wheel is turned all the way to the left. Now I have the old body style, so it's probably different on your 98. Other than that I have no idea. You could run wider in the rear, but depending on how you think that looks, it's up to you. I'm running BFG Radial long trail t/a. My rim is 9.2 inches wide. Maybe this helps you, maybe it doesn't.

i'm running 275/60/15 on my truck and i believe that's about as large as i would go without a lift or triming. But your 295/50 may be close to the same height but a little wider. The problem is hitting on the bottom on the back of the fender and some on the frame. so i would be afraid that your wider tire would rub hard against the frame
