Wut up party people? Ive had my 92 hatch for a while now and ever since ive had it it does the weirdest thing. Whenever i accelerate the needle on the gas guage goes down about a qarter of a tank, and when i finally stop accelerating the needle goes back up. Now this poses the problem that i never really know how much gas i got in the tank. Is this normal or is there anything i can do to get it fixed?

Mine does that on off-ramps and driveways, because we have floating sensors on the end of the gas tank nearest to the front of the car. It doesn't do it as extreme in my car as you're talking about (by just hitting the gas) but unless you want to spend $100 for a new gas tank from a junkyard, I would just fill up when you reach the mileage you usually fill up at (like 275 miles or whatever). Just remember to reset the trip odometer every time :)
