Timming setting

Hi i just bought a 91 civic. Ican not seem to find info in the books about this engine sems it's a odd engine the books i look at for the 91 yeardont post nothing on it. So i like to know how to set the timing i got a new belt a bunch of new distributer parts ..and replaced the fuel regulator. the car + parts was 350$ and in mint condition well exterior is LOL thanks to all who reply

well i realy need to know now if there a way to tweak the timing ...like on some old cars u trun the distibutor? beacuse i have the rotor set rightbefore 1st sparkplug and piston TDC ...so just seeing if theres a fine adjustment setting ..my book doesnt show

it's for the crx however, the civic and crx have the same engines...with the exception of the HF with the crx has and the civic does not.

OMG thanks i been looking for a more detailed manual then this junk i bought at auto zone doesnt list my carb in there or my distributor :)) lol

at my local honda they are a bit retarded and often tell us "there is no such part"....if anybody else also has this problem, stop by: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
they have the complete honda parts catalog online, complete with exploded views of the little parts. you can grab the part number online and then call up your local honda...avoid paying shipping :naughty:

awsome thanks alot u been so helpful ..didnt know that there was a timing plug u had to jumper and that 1st site u gave me actualy showed where it was ..my stupid book didnt dsay where or what loc it was at again im greatful for all the help
