that guy was a member of purehonda at one time as far as I understand....I am not watching the movie but if it is the same video he has a turbo and a motor swap his turbo was pushing 20psi or something.

I have that civic vs. viper movie and have showed to many of my friends and most of them say the same thing...No Way!:rolleyes: But from what I have heard(possibly rumor) is that the guy was running 24 psi on top of having many, many other mods including an engine swap. Now, yes the viper prolly would have won if he didn't lite 'em up for the first 60ft...but hey, his problem! Either way the civic driver can chalk it up as a victory:D

That Civic isn't stock it and yes it does have a TURBO ..... he probably been practisin like a bitch and its lighter than a Viper so 500hp 4 banger would prolly win

The video of the Civic hatch beating the Viper? That the one? The Civic owner used to be a member here a while back, some of the older ph.com members might have known him. Name was St00pid and he had a swap and a huge turbo running 24 lbs of boost.

The civic you are talking about if from Houston texas, It is a GSR swap running 25 psi and is a 10 second daily driver, and was selling the car last year for $25K.

They bought Nissan Micras and modded those i owuldn't be bothered if they resembled or had any links to Silvia or Skyline but they don't infact they're the size and excitement of a Geo Metro or Ford Fiesta or VW Polo (smaller than a Beetle) or stuff like that ..... i can't wait to go back to England o god it may have some areas which are better but the modifing scene is plain shit ......

Okay, if I remember correctly the Viper has 450 stock HP right? So if the Civic had 500 HP then the Civic should be able to walk the Viper like a dog especially since the Civic would be so much lighter.
