95 Geo Metro Upkeep

I just bought a 1995 Geo Metro with 89K miles. At what mileage should I be looking to replace the timing belt, clutch, or any other major components. Any info is appreciated.

my 93 metro didnt loose its clutch until 125,000 so it probably has a while. just take your time when you replace the belt. it can be tricky. you also should look at fuel filter, air filter, cap and rotor (of that model has them), egr valve, and pcv valve. a simple automotive manual from a parts store will describe these swaps very easily. they are not hard, except for the lutch if you dont have the right tools
