cold-air in an integra is the best. if you had a short ram it would actually be doing nothing b/c the engine bay gets so hot and the filter is right there, so it would be denser air. stock air box would be better than a short ram.

according to 99.9% of people that answered in that last thread think the CAI is better because thats what the manufacture says and they have there minds set on the amazing CAI when infact the intake is only a small piece of the puzzle, they also think a CAI is better because its what hot and everyones got one and you cant be fast with out that "cold air"

Man you just cant let it go can you? I think we already covered it all enough. You said your piece, we said ours. In the words of Paul Mcartney, "LET IT BE."

for the test with the 93 civic si, it did gain 3 hp, but no one said performance was cheap. the test with the rsx type s, the aem cai gain 6 hp, and with the injen, it gain 12 hp, hold up, i have to correct myself, u don't really gain, but rather u free up hp. well anyways, not bad if u ask me. tell me do u have an exhaust system? how much u think u gain/free up bye spending $400-$600? i highly doubt it's even over 10 hp, i bet you'll get around 3-7 hp out of that.
the best bang for buck hands down is by purchasing a turbo or supercharger, but again not everyone has $2000-$5000 in thier back pockets. do u? bro, stop arguing, ur fighting a losing battle.

well i can say that if you have a supercharged moter than short ram is better because cai cause the supercharger to work too hard, but on the other hand turbo engines would benifit from a cold air system, but an intake and exhaust are used to prepare your car for more extreme mods like bore and stroke, or forced induction, so neither one will give you too much more power
