Timing Question

I replaced my timing belt a while ago (cause it broke) and when I was timing it with a light, I noticed something that I wasn't sure about. I set the timing at idle, and then while holding the timing light and reving the timing advances like 20-30 degrees the higher I rev. Is this normal?? My car runs fine, I'm guessing that it is, but wondering.

yea 91 civich is right... so if you used the manual to get your timing #'s and it says your idle should be at 650 at norm operating temp but your car was idleing at 800 when you did the timing, then you may have a slight prob.
