I've heard along with the performance, the price will also go much higher, to the tune of around $120-150k USD:(

What the hell?

I thought they were not bringing Skylines to the states, well if they do i will more then likely buy one, unless it has modifacations to the engine that a normal Skyline freak would NOT want. Anyways yeah, i would say i am a potential buyer.:greenchai

its gonna be a turbo v8 from what ive read. i think its a 3.5 liter. i wont be getting one for a hell of a lotta time, i still got college to go through. i doubt its gonna be $150k. that would just be dumb on nissan's part. they sell the r34's for what ever $70,000 is in yen. motorex has to make em legal, and ship them out here, then theres all that other waste of money, and that comes out to about $90k. i really doubt nissan is going to double the price when it comes to america.

wow what kind of jobs do you all carry to afford $150,000 I'd hafta invest my $20,000 inheritance and wait to get my degree in Industrial Design get a job and save save save but if there gonna bring the real Skylines to the satae's I just might hafta do that maybe I'll get lucky and my mutual fund will make 90% three years in a row hahaha I think not but it sure would make me look like this guy ->:D

Ya know that phrase, "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet?" NOT!!!!!! If they bring the skyline over, it will more than likely be under the Infinity line, how stupid would that be!! I'd still have motorex get me one from Nippon so it wouldn't be detuned and still right hand drive! And on a side note, someone mentioned they are $70G's in Japan, well the V-spec II, is only $50G's. I know because I have the actual brochure on the car from japan and it has the pricing.

Yeap, in Japan all the GT-Rs are in the $50k range, I think that the "basic" GT-R, not vspecII nor N-1 might even cost in high $40k range, right now its about 120 yen for $1.

Cool. Where did you get the brochure? If it's in Japanese I want one too. It sounds like it's really cool to own. Maybe even better than my R33. :D

I put technology to use and bought it off of Ebay. And I must say, it was worth it. It is a hardback book. The pictures in it are all top notch. They show in great length, the interior, the exterior, the undercarriage, everything. And yes all the text is in japanese. If anyone lives in the bay area, there is a book store in Japantown in Frisco that has skyline gtr magazines and books. They're expensive and you probably can't read them, but they are fun to look at.
