It CAN kill you, if you dont get meds....the meds they give you are for mostly gangrene and other types of infections that happen to open wounds. The Scientist is right though, there is no medicine to fight the venom itself.

Sounds like a brown recluse from your description. Yet the only spider i can think of that lives in teh ground is the Trap door spider.

Oh, and who the fuck gave me a bad rep point? I didnt do anything in here unless post pictures that are graphic. :swear: :wtf:

Man, just ignore the negs. I got a neg for complimenting someone's car, the rep said "bitches to much". WTF? Who knows.

Pfft.

:lol2: Someone gave me positive rep for THAT post! Lovin' it! Pfft again.

PS- I'm way too high to be making good decisions right now and it's 3:something AM Sunday. If the above seems rediculous and/or nonsensical, disregard completely. *This PS will be added to all posts tonight.

hm.....i dunno, that doesn't really look real to me; why would someone let the bite sit there for 10 days without treating it?

That should help.
I recognised those pics from snopes.

Also, we have daddylonglegs's here like bloody dust, they're everywhere, and 90% of the population are under the impression that they're the worlds most deadliest spider.
http://www.snopes.com/critters/wild/longlegs.htm <--that's the truth. I've read about them in books and shit.

I've found a bunch of little black spiders with yellow stripes that jump all over the house within the last month.

Matada:
I did find a black widow in my house 3 days ago. There have been a lot of them in this area lately, so I have to be especially vigilant around my kids.

WTF? They got off the base? /suits up in full protective gear to conduct a complete inspection of her house.

Well, its interesting that the effects of the brown recluse are all over the Discovery Channel and TLC. They showed over 20 victims of the brown recluse with those type of wounds. Can it just be to get viewers to watch and for them to make money? dunno.

Oh, about the daddy-long-legs, if you eat 'em, they are very poisonous.
