99 Taurus Wagon Auto Lights/Locks

Lights will not turn off when you lock doors with keyless entry and at times, the lights stay on and driver's door will not auto-lock when driving. Also, passenger power window buttons not working.
Any ideas?

My door ajar switches were bad and the interior light stayed on and the door ajar warning was lit up on the dash. Maybe that's keeping the door from auto locking. Do the other doors auto lock? As for the windows, is the lockout switch in the onlocked position? Does the driver's window work?
