Hi guys!!!!

I have a celica 90 and doesn't have any oem a/c. i really like this car, drives beatifully but i live in hellrida i mean florida so my question is if i can buy an aftermarket a/c and install it in my car or buy a new engine with a/c already(my engine has 125000 milles) or maybe get a a/c system from a wrecked car. do you have any ideas about prices and if it is gonna be very difficult to install a new a/c in this car.

thanks guys!!!!

You could get an ac system from a wrecked car and install it. It will require some dicking around though because the non a/c cars might have a different hvac system, im not sure. You could also look into an aftermarket system, I would think those would be more expensive but perhaps you could call some shops and get some pricing for installs.

you can get everything you need from a junk yard and it will bolt right in and the car is pre-wired for a/c. these were a dealer installed option and are the same as ones installed from the factory.

well i have 24 years toyota exp. and have access to a few junk yards in the area. if you are interested depending when i can get all the parts together (paid in advance) i can install a system in your car for a round 750-800.00

The main thing is finding the doner car or cars.

I'll need the info. from your car I would imagine that it is a ST because the gt's all had air.

I'll need to know the V.I.N. number Production date auto. or std.

Do you have a paypal account?

how we can do this i mean can we go togheter and get the parts? or you need to buy the parts yourself , how long would it take you to install the system. do i need to get a new compressor

yes i have a paypal account.

could you give me more information about the whole thing

It will work like this, When I locate the doner I will contact you. Make sure everything is go. I will take a deposit say 100.00 or so. I will give you all my info full name, address, phone number, drivers licence number etc. and you will prob. want to come to my house anyway and talk face to face etc. Also if you want, my Ebay ID is joecool869 so you can check my feedback, it's over 110 and is 100%

I will remove all the parts from the car to be installed on your car. Give you a call and set up a time when to do the install. The install should take about 4-6 hours.

As for the compressor with any luck the one on the car will be ok but if not we could get a rebuilt one.

As for parts that need to be replaced with new, will be the expansion valve and the reciver dryer. once the evap case is opened I will be able to see if the evap. has been leaking if it is that will have to be replaced with a new one also.

The 750-800.00 does NOT include a new compressor or evaporator.

The junk yards will not allow you to go into the yard with me.

Once I have all the parts ar together you will come over and check everything out and ask any questions you may have. Then decide to do it or not.
The 100.00 deposit will be non refundable.

Remember the install will require NO cutting or altering of your car. The car is ready from the factoy for A/C to be installed at the dealer.
