is "Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicators" good for "Meguiar Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax(liquid)"?

When I worked at an autobody shop, we bought thoes cloth baby diapers and used them. They work better if you wash them if you wash them first though to get the starch off of them.
