Clutchless Manual Transmission

I am sure that you all know what I am talking about. This is the tranny similar to what F1 cars have, where there are 2 paddle wheels on the steering wheel, and when you want to shift gears, you just hit the paddle wheel. The gear will change in 0.15 sec, with no clutch to press.

I was just wondering if anybody has ever heard of this type of tranny on an F-body. I know about the shiftronic for automatic transmissions, but that is just a cheap knock off.

P.S. I'm gonna post this here and in the Firebird forum.

Nope.
I've never heard of an F-Body with it.
Probably cost a shitload to do an aftermarket setup.

A good sequental gearbox ( a real one that is used in track cars etc , not any "shift-tronic-super-magic" auto gearbox) and the whole "paddle" system would be like 8 grand and a lot of work to do , you'll have to take out the whole gearbox , strip the interior... lots of work
