Lower?

Hey Guys. For all you six gen civic owners out there I got a question for ya. I got a full buddyclub 2 kit installed, had the side skirts molded in, looks real smooth, but it's still riding at stock height. I was going to lower it after my kit was installed, but now I'm having second thoughts. I already scrape the bottom of my front bumper a bit when I hit really steep dips and I'm worried that if I lower it, even by an inch or so to remove the fender gap it would get worse, and I don't want to go thru the crap of having to drive diagonally over bumps and stuff. I mean, yeah it looks kinda high, but at least I don't have to drive "special" just to get around. Please tell me what to do. I'll post pics soon.

lower it 1" and get bigger tires, that'll hide your gap a little bit without putting you too much lower. Lowered with kits aren't good for daily drivers imo.

This is why one must plan ahead when doing stuff to their cars. :banghead:

well i wanted to do the kit then see if i had room to lower it. obviously i don't so i'll just ride around at stock height until i have ever have a ridiculous amount of money to put some airbags or some tein electronically adjustable coilovers on.

why not buy a decient set of coil over for like 400 bucks or so. then keep it at stock height when you drive, then dump it for a show or when you want it to look hot?
