AIV Immobilizer...

AIV on 1990-1993 Zed's has been rumored to be useless...

I heard someone on here mentioning they had theirs removed. How did you go about this?

Does it hurt to leave it in there?

It doesn't hurt to leave it, it just eventually starts making noises due to the valves going bad, it is cheap to fix but you can just take it out or disable it. If you get an aftermarket exhaust you usually do not hook it back up to the pipes.

you literally just take it all out. in the fender well on both sides is all the hardware. the filters and hoses and other such things. it was for emissions but if you have an aftermarket ecu it doesnt utilize them anyway take them off save some wieght(not a lot but every little bit gets you to a bigger number)and it one less thigs to break.
