92 ford explorer

it was fine, then the next morning I start it up it runs, I turn on my lights, it dies. & that is what it has done ever since. Starts fine, runs, turn on lights it dies, immediately, I bought a new battery, with no change, any ideas???

You might want to try putting this in the Ford forum, better yet the Explorer forum for better luck...
About all we can tell you here is that - "of course it won't start, it's a FORD!"
I guess it's not charging. If turning on the lights creates that much of a drag on the charging system, enough to kill it, then something is either fried in the wiring or the alternator is shot or something, I don't know what to tell you...
