Car won't start

I have had two rebuilt transmittions put in my stealth within the last two months. Last night after maybe two-weeks my car wouldn't start it clicked so, during the night it was charged. The next morning I tried it again it didn't start. but the car acted as if it was out of gas. A friend of mine and myself went to the back and got the blue I think pump and found that no gas was getting to the car. My question is two parts. First could this be a cause from the transmittion and second could it be the ECM or am I looking in the complete wrong direction. I have paid out the ass for continues problems the althernator was replaced three months ago and I don't want my husband to pull the whole console out to find out that wasn't the problem. Anyone, that has an opinion is welcomed. Also the check engine light did come on except that after we unhooked the battery for awhile then replaced it I believe we reset something and it doesn't come on anymore. Please respond our I will be finding the nearest bus station for long while. :nono:
