89 S10 Blazer Tranny

About 2 weeks ago i was driving down the freeway and my tranny slip out of gear i pulled of put it in park and waited for a sec put it back in
Overdrive and proceeded it shift into first and second just fine and then
slipped trying to go into drive or overdrive the tranny fluid was about a half a quart low so i replaced it and the problem is still here

please help with any info you can give i will be very thankfull

is the check engine light on? if so what are the codes?

The check engine light only came on when you were on the freeway and
you did more then 75 but when you got of the freeway and restarted the car it was gone. it stoped coming on after drive and overdrive went out. the codes i dont know where do i get that checked at?

sorry, but no amount of pulling codes is gonna fix that. you have a non- e model 700R4 and Im bettin u lost the 3/4 clutch pack.

hmmm i never heard of that but damn i am going check that out for sure tell you if it works or not thanks for that i would have never thought of that
