Service Engine Light

Service Engine light on my 99 Suburban came on a few weeks back and I brought it to my mechanic. He said the knock sensor was the problem because it was unpluged. The light came on again and I wanted to check if it was the same problem. I have no idea where to look for this sensor. Help!
