What do you guys think about the 1987 Buick Grand National and the 1990 Taurus SHO?

the 87 turbo GN is an insanely quick car. 10's without much hassle if i remember correctly. the SHO on the other hand, i personally don't care for.

SHO = Junk. Piss Slow.

GN = AMAZING! They are the American Supra. Better for Drag Racin' then a Supra though. They can be made very fast for cheap....I love em!

yeah,they can be really quick...I just wouldn't want to take one through the curves or up past about 120, I've heard they become unstable because of the aerodynamics

hakka, that has to be the stupidest signature i've ever read...anyway gn's are awesome but they can't do a thing other than drag. they don't even have rear brakes!

apparently my friend jason doesn't know his poop. you're right they have rear drum brakes. oh hakka it doesn't offend me, i just think its incredibly cheesy (i also disagree but we don't need another japan vs. america arguement)

a good friend of mine has a GN...
it's totally hooked up...bigger turbo...and all the stuff that goes
with it...

i tell you what...even driving that car in a straight line is very
difficult...the second the boost hits, the car just breaks loose...
then it's a fight to stay straight till you realize you're going 120

"for those ten seconds or less", you're NOT "free", you're scared
shitless!!!
haha

those cars are so freakin fast man

I am looking to buy a 1984 Buick Grand National. I don't really know what to look for when it comes to "Common Problems" with the GN'S, specifically the 1984's. If anyone can shed some light on the subject, that would be great!!
