My headliner, cardboard and all (or whatever the cloth is attatched to) is not worth saving. I've been looking for a replacement part for it and i found this.
http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/inc/pdetail?v=1&pid=282
was wondering couple things.
1. Anyone here ever had to swap out the whole thing not just put new cloth on it, and if so how did you go about doing it.
2. Is this part worth it.
3. (new to this but) What do i use to hold the bloody thing to the roof of car?

feel free to metnion anything i forgoten

all this for a 86 z28 with t-tops

thanks for the help

well first off, that site is fantastic, the staff is awesome, ive actually gone down there in person and met them all. they will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. the headliner is held on by the trim, sun visors, dome light, and seatbelt guides, as well as sail panels, and rear arch trim. take all those out and it should fall out of place. i would say that part is worth it. as i had my headliner re covered and within a few weeks it was fading. i was very upset. i recomend against saving money buy going to a cheap upolsery shop in the shady part of town ;)
