I am currently traveling and went out to my car and was unable to open the door by the keypad. I have been having electrical problems but need a quick fix. I have not tried to open the door with the key since I will be returning to the car on Wednesday. Any advice, could the battery be completely drained that it is not letting me access the keypad? I was able to open the trunk with my key without setting off any alarms. If I use my key in the door, it could possibly set off the alarm and maybe not if the battery is dead. If it does, I don't have a way of disarming it if the keypad doesn't work other than disconnecting the battery; again provided the battery is still charged.
any advice?

Nope, there is a disarm wire in the door switch as well. Not sure what is actually your problem with out seeing the car though!

Are you keying the Factory number, or your programmed number?
My SC will "forget" my programmed number now and then. If you can't open it with the Factory number, then something is deffinitely wrong, as that number is hard coded into the keyless entry module.
