Fuse Block..

Questions:

Never did meddle with my fuse block in my car (extreme left dash) before.. I thought of running wires via the bottom panel from under the dash and steering column, and connect them to fuse block..
Can I actually pull out the fuse block from its position (with all the wires still there of course)? I saw 2 levers/catch at both top left/right corners of the black fuse block unit, but I am just skeptical to pull it out lest something *boom*...

Beside the 2 screws that fasten the bottom panel (driver's), if I were to totally remove it, are there any hidden catch? I hate to force and break some harmless-looking catches that can create a world of difference w/o them!

um... why are you removing it????? its kinda there for a reason, and the techs know where to find it. sounds like a headache just waiting to happen.
