Help with 2001 to 95 motor swap!!!!

Hi guys i recently saterted to swap a 2001 motor into a 95 altima i was told that the intake manifold was different with i agreed but decided to keep the 2001 manifold and make it work i first notice i had to rewire the injectors plugs becuase they are different, then i had to rewire the oil pressure sensor and had to make the water temperature sensor longer because they changed it. Also i had to change the distributor of course. After the complete swap was done i tried to crank the car up but it wont start. I need help what could be happening everything looks in place all the plugs are connected. i have spark and fuel pressure i don't know the motor tries but turns off right away. also i noticed that when i turned the key to the on position the water temp gauge goes all the way to hot and it cannot be the wiring because all i had to do was extend on wire. So please guys if anyone knows what could be happening i would really apreciate any thoughts.
