headunit install

anyone ever installed a headunit in a fox body? i just got a new pioneer deh p6600 and for some reason i cant get it to work. but if i connect the red and yellow wires to the positive battery terminal and the black to the negative terminal and the headunit turns on. anyone have any suggestions.

Red is ignition power, yellow is memory or constant power, black is ground.

I JUST DID THIS MY 85
If your using a wiring harness, there isn't a constant power supply for the yellow wire. Splice into the lighter's power wire and you should be good to go.
