That's one beastly looking car. I wouldn't mind driving one of those around on a daily basis ;)

86 views and hardly any comments - that's kind of surprising. :disappoin
While this isn't my favorite livery on the longtail GTRs, there's no denying that these images are simply spectacular. I thought more people would be excited over these.

Tremendous photos. I went to the site and cruised through all of them there. Great work. The car reminds me of Darth Vader with red trim. It just has to sit there and ya know it's a B A D boy  .

im excited but getting a little frustrated not seeing one in person...it will seem surreal when it finally (if ever) happens.. I heard it is wider in real life than in the pics..
Bloody isolated Australia!

:nutkick: Hey McLaren Mike don't feel too bad. You can be the kicker and pretend that I'm the kickee. When in London several years ago I was within blocks of main McLaren building (can't remember the location-read that old fart) and didn't stop. If someone else doesn't kick me I'm still kicking myself. I just wasn't using the old noodle at the time. Regrets regrets  just asleep at the wheel at the time.

Thank you very much Dhabes !
I am not a huge fan of the longtail GTR but this one rocks !
For Mpowered and McLaren Mike > I understand what you feel. For me, the McLaren F1 is a sort of Graal. But, I start to well know the McLaren (I mean caracteristics, best car ever, ... ) near 96', so I never know if the car was on display in Paris show !!!! I waited 6 years to see one after well know it.
And since, I want to see others !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other thing, a friend told me that if I came from the part of someone, I would sat in the Parklane F1 !!!!! Why I didn't take a low-cost ticket to go to London :(
Ciao
Phil

This will either piss you off or make you happy. I saw there was a McLaren GTR at Watkins Glen a year or so ago and my dad always went for the vintage race in June. So I made it a point to go this year in the slim hopes a mac would be there. I was strolling through the paddock and what do you think I saw. That Lark McLaren. I took around 130 pics from head to toe. The guys were great, they opened the doors for me. I wish I was a blonde blue eyed with big jublies because then I could have gotten the nose and tail removed. At any rate, It didn't run on Friday or Saturday which is when I left. I'm not sure if it ran on Sunday but at least I got to see it. Big way bigger than any other Le Mans car there especially prototypes. I'd pop a photo or two here but I don't know how, I don't think I can.

With that many photos though, if you are willing to share them I would suggest going to Imagestation.com and creating an account and then uploading all of them. Then you only need to upload them once and you can provide a link to the album for anyone who's interested.
If you have specific questions, let me know. Imagestation is completely free and easy to use.

Thanks for the info, I emailed a few to Mini Magic last night. I told him what I'll tell you now. Most of my shots are closeup detail pics for reference to build models. The car was between 2 others so backing off from the sides was difficult. Later in the day, they moved the car and I got some shots from the right side a little further away. But, those are on film and haven't been developed yet. I'll leave the beauty shots to the photographer who inspired this thread.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you can go to Imagestation which is set up by Sony and register for free to set up a photo album. You can then post the link and people can go to that website and view the photos that you have uploaded to that site. It's another way of sharing the pics. Here's the link
