..Hit My Car...

...welll today was my last BGCSE (bahamas general certificate of secondary education) exam and I went to school at about 12:30 and left after the exam at 3:00...from school I went to the jukebox (tuner shop) and saw this filter that I liked I didnt have any money on me but home was only about 20 minutes so I left the shop at about 4:15 on my way home I had to go on a 2 lane road that I go on everyday...

when I turned onto the road I went up a bit and saw that there was a green Jeep Cherokee trying to get out of the Texaco up the road I was no more than 20 feet away from him when he tried to get out of the corner...he jumped out of the corner and stopped dead in front of me...I mashed the brakes but it was too late...after my car stalled out and I put up the e brake he drove up a little more so me being startled drove up after him not knowing that he could say that I just ran up in back of him...

I came out of the car with a serious attitude forgetting that I dont have a licence asking him how he thought he could run out in front of me like that...all he could say is that he didnt see me...I was pissed (needless to say) but I knew that both of us were in the wrong...me for driving with no licence and him for coming out in front of me...

i saw my cousin dirivng on the same road and called him..he finished talking to the man for me and he was cool with everything...I can understand why he was cool with everything he was in the wrong and his car was less fucked up than mine...I would be cool with it too...

well anyways I just thought I'd share...Im depressed now...if anyone is gonna reply just to tell me that im stupid for driving with no licence or that it was really my fault just dont reply...go find something better to do

It was a jeep so I hit the bottom of it...the towing thing bent my bumper and the bottom of the jeeps bumper bent my hood...it looks more nasty than it really is...no damage to the B16...Thank God...if I work fast enough I should ba able to make the next event on the 20th...

Im sorry to hear that man. It sucks. The good thing is that the fucking jeep didnt jump over you and went on your roof or something like that. I now theres not a bright side to this, but at least you are Ok man, your body is worth a lot more than a civics body.

Yeah thanks mex...Theres no real frame damage...I went down to the shop a few minutes ago and they said a new hood and bumper will cost me 345 (hood 180 bumper 165) so I think I'll probably have enough money to get them by next week...Im thinkin about doin all new colours and stuff while Im at it...I was thinking of painting the hood and lip black, getting some amber corners, and painting my rims a dark bronze...It should look something like this civic only blue not green...

Well my parents werent too mad because 1. after talking to the guy who pulled out in front of me both of them figured out it was his fault (mainly because he didnt want any $ for his damages) and 2. it was neither of their cars so if it was my fault or if they had to pay for the other guys damages it could have sit in the garage hurting only me and not them...

My car is at the body shop now there was no major damage to the front (no chopping or welding required) but the chassis needed to be pulled out a bit I'll post some pics of how it was a few nights ago...

I went to check on it today and its coming along great the bumper was on but I had to carry them a new corner light because one was broken before the accident so that was holding them back from lining up my fender...he told me to check him again on monday so I should have it on monday afternoon....

Uh yeah, when you're driving you're supposed to be watching what is ahead of you so you can anticipate and react if something should enter your path. Duh. Also, I never said i'll never have an accident, I said i haven't had one. Why is that? Because i keep aware of my surroundings, and watch what people are doing.
