Just bought a CRX!

Just got me a '91 CRX SI today for $2800! But there is no power steering on this mugg, so is there anyway I can have that installed?

Oh yeah, a minor problem on the car is that someone tried to break into the drivers side door and messed up the keyhole/door handle, is there a place to buy a replacement online?

Congrats on buying the CRX. Don't worry about the handle. I think it's better to put in keyless entry anyways. You should talk to Marked001. He knows where to get them.

The Wings West kit comes with
front bumper cover
rear bumper cover
left and right side skirts
left and right door CAPS not handles

Thats kool u got a rex now...welcome to the rex family :) About the power steering..i don't think you can but if its possible then its gonna be alot of money to do that...i think? Why would you want power steering for anyways? Trust me you'll get used to it! About them door handles..go to the boneyard and get it there! It should be like around 10-20 bucks?

yeah...its not really worth it to put power steering in your car...if you're really set on it some dx hatch's and most sedan's had it....but its not bad at all. I had to parallel park my old hatch like 6 times a day and didnt have a problem. you'll get used to it.

go to the yard if you want a replacement handle...or try www.woodfins.com ...a little pricey, but quick.

if you wanna upgrade to keyless entry get the 'keyless' handles off the back of the 89-91 civic sedans (some older accords are the same as well, but I'm not positive of the years) and get a keyless entry/powerlock kit. www.autoloc.com has some really quality kits.

hey curious abotu autoloc is there a setup for the power windows that could go in the dash?

oh and keyless entry where would i get handles for that?

you don't get handles... you get lil selonides that pop the door open

Power windows: Just get the JDM/Aussie power windows. You'll need to flip the door controls over as JDM/Aussie ones are RHD, but that's it. Likewise power steering. Aussie spec CRXs were ZC only with power steering, power windows, power mirrors and aircon all fitted as standard. Likewise our Civics were only one-spec, JDM Twin-Carb D15B, power steering, power windows, aircon standard. Power windows were added to the '90-'91 models.

I've never driven a 2GCRX/4GCivic without power steering - now I'm wondering what it would be like :p

Just get the rear door handles off a 88-91 sedan.
