AC going out

lately whenever I accelerate or turn a corner my AC drops out and begins blowing on my feet. It comes back on after a few seconds. I live in Phoenix so AC is absolutley vital. Is this an early sign of a failure?

My car was doing the exact same thing. Took it to my a/c man and he found a small hose under the battery that had been rotted in two by battery acid. Said it was a vacuum hose. Took him all of 20 minutes to fix. Hope this helps.

look for a vacumn leak. it sounds like you have a slight leak somewhere. listen for a hissing noise under the dash or under the hood somewhere
