Hey, my sis's 95 Talon Esi is having cooling problems. We've allready found out that the radiator fan is shot and the radiator just blew a biiig crack in the top (all the way across the center). We sealed it with JB Weld and i hope itll last for a little while.
Well to the point, should i get a new radiator ($100) and fan ($70) for it or go to a junk yard and get one there?? Also, how do you know that the thermostat is working?? :uhoh: I've never seen the temp gague move either.

I'm not much of a car guy yet but I'm workin on it.

if the temp gauge isnt moving you probably have a bad coolant temp sensor that will make th car run rough sometimes too. the sensor in on the side of the thermostat housing where the upper radiator hose connects first make sure the plug is connected. dunno how to check the thremostat other then to put it in a pot of water and heat it on the stove till the thermostat opens. id just slap in a new one they're like 5 bucks. if you have any more questions just pm me or ask in the mitsubishi eclipse board. they're the same car but theyre more people in the eclipse board. i dunno too much about 2nd gen 95-99 but somebody on the eclipse board should be able to help you
