I haven't had much time to research this yet as I only have internet at work right now, but I just bought an 87 conquest/starion. It has what I've been told is a common problem for them. It won't rev over 3000 rpm. I'm wondering if this is just the secondary injector or if it's a computer problem. I saw one post where a guy shelled out $300 for an injector only to realize he needed a computer. Not sure if that's my problem too. It doesn't seem to stumble when It's not running boost or under light load, but if I'm really accelerating it stumbles hard. (I've only had it an hour or so and just drove to work so I haven't tested it too much.
For reference:
1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI
79,000 miles
5 spd (not sure if auto was an option)
Body's a little rough w/some cracked paint and a bit of bondo
Fresh turbo (stock)
New rear end
Really clean interior (black on black)
$900

Ok, I did a little reading and I think it's the injector clip. I would still appreciate any advice you can give me, I don't want to break this thing in my tinkering.....I hate being uninformed about something i drive.
