In my province age, gender, or color will not affect insurance rates.. It seems that everywhere else it does though..
I pay about $800cdn a year for my 91Z28 and my girlfriend pays about $1000cdn a year for her 97RS 3.8L..

I knew a younger guy(16). He had a 96 Z28. He paid $390.00 amonth. All depends on state, age, gender, driving record, ect.

What about in New Jersey? For a 93-97 z28?
It seems that older cars are a lot cheaper in insurance even though they are really fast. Like a '69 camaro or chevelle ss. Maybe these are better investments, what do you think?

well, one of the major determining factors is, are we talking full coverage, or liability only? in Ohio most insurance companies wont insure a car with full coverage that is more than about 10yrs old unless there is a loan on it, or some other special circumstance. If you are talking liability only, it "shouldnt" be much more than what you are paying now, on whatever you are driving. If you were in Ohio, I could quote you. I would recommend calling your agent, it doesnt cost anything to get a quote, or it shouldnt.
