Rims

My rims are stripped and can no longer be clean. Any suggestions out there? I have a 540ia with bmw factory rims. How much is fair for someone to paint them? Is that a bad idea?

I recently paid $100 for 14" and $125 for 16" alloy rim refinishing. I was very satisfied with the work.
