I have a 01 extented cab silverado with a 3/4 drop. I installed air bags on the back and now i need a solution for the front coil springs to lift the suspension 1 to 3 inches when carrying a heavy load. The truck bottoms out very easily when loaded down. Does any one make a product that will lift a coil spring front end?
Thanks

I'm kinda of confused. Why or how does the front get affected when the rear is loaded down with stuff? You may as well get airbags up front to though. You could get Air Ride Shockwaves if you want an excellent ride and don't care about laying frame.

Because the truck is slightly higher in the back (so i can have more travel in the springs while loaded) the front end of the front bumper is lower to the ground. The higher the rear end gets, it causes bottoming out and the bumper skirt/plastic oil pan cover hit the ground.

Okay, I got ya now. I know that there use to be some sort of coil springs with air bags inside them that were adjustable. But I'm unaware if they are still available or even that good. I'd recommend The Shockwave from Air Ride Technologies(www.ridetech.com). It would probably be the quickest and simpliest solution to your problem.

thanks for the info. boy those shocks are expensive 900.00 for the pair. The rear air bags only cost 200.00. I will look for the air bags that go in the center of the spring. They might be cheaper. I will take a look around.
