I noticed over the past few years of my auto expiriences that GMC cars and trucks get HOT and the temp guages move all over the place.
Today I will install a lower temp thermostat (170-180 instead of 195 ) see if it works to help it also gonna try water wetter see how it behaves after that and let you know how the combo goes. I heard it helps with the fans , they kick in more often and do there job. Also Still have the heat shield work to do under the hood with some air routing. I ported the hood to help the heat escape , works ok looks cool in the rain.
