Stupid Tranny

I just bought this car a 2001 SE limited and under 2200 rps's no matter what gear the tranny makes a grinding noise, not clutch because i can not feel it in the pedals, when i step on it it stop at about 2200 then doenst make that sound, but no matter what it makes that sound when you take off (5-speed). Please someone help me it worries me and if the dealer ship does not fix this where just gonna give the car back and say "Have a nice day!" If there is anything you guys know about this pelase let me know.


AND OH YEA i have heard that the rear suspension is just plain loud but in reverse and turning around corners with bumpb the rear end makes a "thumping" sound makes it sound like i am running over a person, so if you also have this problem please respond,

I had a Focus and found a way to resolve the issues in one go......

I sold it.

It was the biggest disappointment I've ever had where it comes to cars, one issue after another.

They have replaced SO many parts on my focus because of loud suspension noises! Springs, and something that goes on top of the spring to muffle the noise.. basically... can't think of what it is called.. I will have to pull the old repair invoices...
the suspension seems to make MORE noise when driving in wet weather for some reason... go figure! My car also has a problem with the front suspension as well... and it is being affected again.. same thing... :(

they said they fixed it,.,, a vibrationg heat shield my ass, still does it, just curious at about 30 mph wut gear u guys ion and wut about 40?

3rd gear usually.. I don't pay attention to the stupid shift lights.. if you do you will be in 5th gear going 40 mph.. and you won't have any power left if you need to climb a hill! Wish I could turn it off or pull the fuse! It annoys me! DO they really think that if we didn't know how to drive a stick, we would BUY ONE!??? I don't think so! IDIOT LIGHT!!
