hey guys, ive got a 1990 chevy s10. its already lowered with 3" springs on the front and 4" blocks on the back. i was wondering. if i get 2"spindles for the front and 3" leaf springs for the rear, would i NEED new shocks? i wanna set the truck on the ground and this is the only other way i found to lower it, without spending a gazilion buckls on bagsw. if you need a pic, look in my sig or click on my cardomain site.

I believe you will need new shocks. I guess you say 'set the truck on the ground' figureatively. B/c there is no other way to set it on the ground without bags. If you can install the bags yourself, you can get a full kit for around $850 or so. Maybe even a little cheaper.

You could probably find a kit in magazines. Probably the cheapest way. It may be a few days, but I can do a little searching for you and see what I come up with.

Did you get new shocks when you did the 3" drop?
If they were 3" drop shocks you won't need new shocks. Spindles lower the front by raising the wheel not compressing the suspension so the 3" drop shock are all you need for the springs you. In the rear the blocks move the wheel up without changing the the shock length, so now with the 3" springs you will need the 3" drop shocks. Springs change suspension-spindles and blocks don't.
