Which one do you think is the best video ever to be made either by Top Gear or Fifth Gear?

How can you choose a best from all of Top Gear's videos? Those guys are so awesome that they could make a Yugo look like a super car.
But if I have to choose then I must go with the following. In no particular order.
:sunglasse Koenigsegg
:22yikes: Carera GT
 McLearen Mercedes
:evillol: Lotus Exige vs. the AH-64 Apache

For me, the best Top Gear videos are :

-Lotus Exige vs. the AH-64 Apache(JC)
-Aston Martin DB9 VS. the Eurostar Train(with James May, Stig, and JC)
-The test drive of the SLR (with Stig)
-Koenigsegg CC with JC(JC again)

5TH GEAR:
-Enzo(Tiff)
-Challenge Stradale(not excellent but not bad either, with Vicki)
-Aston Martin DB9( I love the car but who was that guy? He's not bad but he has a long way to go to be like Tiff)

To be perfectly honest I did not get to see many 5TH Gear videos just yet. I'll post more as I keep on watching

The one were they test the SKYLINE, they say it was made to compete against the playstation generation or some shit.

The one were they say that the bmw z4 and porshe boxters are real sports cars, and at last they introduce the s2000 saying that is the REAL hardcore sports car.

Sorry, but a Japanese Super Car is a contradiction in terms. Don't get me wrong I like the Skyline, and the NSX, but they don't hold a candle to the Europeans. Here in the states we made a good attempt at a super car with the Viper, but even it still comes short of the likes of Ferrari, Lambos, Mclearen Mercedes SLR, Lotus Elise....on and on the list goes. Euros have always dominated the rest of the world. :ylsuper:

Top Gear Hot Lap Times-

The only one missing is the Cerrara GT which is in the number 1 spot @ 1.19.8.
1st
Mercedes McLaren SLR - 1.20.9
Joint 2nd
Ferrari 360 CS - 1.22.3 & Porsche GT3 RS - 1.22.3
3rd
Murcielago - 1.23.7
4th
Zonda - 1.23.8
5th
Koenigsegg - 1.23.9
6th
Noble - 1.25.0
7th
Gallardo - 1.25.8
8th
Lotus Exige - 1.26.4 and it was tested on a wet track
9th
Porsche 911 GT3 - 1.27.2
10th
TVR 350c - 1.27.5
The Viper has not been tested to date, but by this I'd say that the Lotus Exige (U.S. version of the Elise) is in some pretty good company. There is also a video out that shows a Exige beating a Porsche GT3 and a Ferrari F-50, sure on the straights the other two have the edge but the Exige out handles them both. The Viper doesn't hold a candle, a large front engine rear drive, versus tiny mid-engine rear drive built for performance handling....I dare say you stand corrected sir.

ok you have point with handling. but in the straite see ya later. sure the elise handles lake a freakin dream go kart handling haha. also i know they had made the venom series viper w/ something like 610/710 horsepower. they had made 600 or so they said in one of my magazines now if this is true(im not sure because ive never seen one) i doubt the elise has a chance. u also gotta admit the viper does handle exceptionally well for a rear wheel drive. we have CAROL SHELBY to thank for this

Yes the Viper is very quick on the straights, but again we are talking all around driving. Hennessey not only puts out a 600 or 700hp Venom they are also putting out 1000 hp twin turbo Venoms.
http://www.hennesseyperformance.com
But, let's keep things in perspective here, we all know that there is a difference between a Hennessey Venom and a Lotus Exige off the showroom floor. I still have to wonder how well a 1000 hp front/engine, rear/wheel drive car that is as large as the Venom would handle on a road course. They put up 1/4 mile times in the 8 second range, but that is a lot of weight to be slinging around.
Now you give that thing launch control and traction control like the F-1 cars have and now we have a very interesting situation. Could you imagine a 1000hp Viper that you could manage through a road course without spinning out on every turn?! That would be thing of beauty.

BTW; it looks like Hennessey Motorsports is working on some European cars too: Audi RS6, BMW M5, Lamborghini Gallardo-Murcielago, Mercedes AMG, Porsche Cayenne-911 & GT2. Hmm, these might prove to be interesting indeed.

Exactly I say this because I know the limitations of American vehicles and I know the strengths of the European cars.

And what european car do you own so that you know their strengths?
Oh and you want American Supercars try the Ford GT or better yet the Lingenfelter Corvette. THOSE are true cars and will beat any European car. I know the Europeans have good cars but so do the Americans. Give credit where its due.

Must you own a Supercar to know the strengths? I think not.
Ford GT-40 is a good car, and so is the Lingenfelter Corvette. As for the Corvette I lump it in with the Hennessey Venoms, it is an aftermarket upgrade to an existing product. Sure you buy it the car new but then it is shipped off and the upgrades are completed, this is not the same as buying a supercar off the showroom floor. As for the GT-40 it looks very promising, but I have yet to see much data on the car other than a 3.3 sec-0 to 60, and a 1/4 mile time of 11.6@128mph.
http://www.fordgt.net/
John Force proved that any "redneck" can make a car go straight and fast, lets see cars that can drive.
I want to see road race testing on the new GT-40 before I can judge if this thing is a keeper or another Ford flop.

well i think that asshole needs to back off you we were having a good convo about cars. but the gt-40 was on car and driver the other day and it beat out the porsche gt2 i believe and the 360 modena so its no SUPERCAR but id love to have it. now if we were talkin carrera gt and f50 than id say super car but back off the guy newb hes cool as hell

Damn chill out I didn't want to start a war. But I just hate it when people don't give credit to American cars. I personally think it's damn good that the Ford GT could swing with the porsche and ferrari on its debut year. As for one to have to own a car to know its strengths, I said that because of your reply of , " Exactly I know this because I know the limitations of american vehicles and the strengths of the European cars."

I do not hesitate to give credit where credit is due, as I have stated before I love American Muscle I think its great that they try to put out supercars. However, my point was that the Europeans are the Kings of the Supercar, they produce more models of supercars than any other area, and those supercars consistently out-perform the rest of the compitition. You cannot deny that American auto-makers have only made a token attempt at the supercar market. The Viper and the GT-40 are nice rides, but they are only one model from two different car manufacturers. As for the Corvette well it is a nice car but it cannot compete with the big boys without serious modifications.

---------------------------
And the reason I said "Exactly, I know this because I know the limitations of american vehicles and the stregnths of the European cars" because I like to read up on vehicles and I like to pay attention to different comparison tests. That and as someone who loves American muscle I think I am in a pretty good position to criticise their efforts to date. They can do better, they choose not too.

:bananasmi Oh, yeah, can't we all just get along! LOL

Yeah, it's true that the Europeans have the some of the best supercars around but I think that American cars could have an easier time catching up to them,if the goverment didn't put so many obstacles on them when their building cars. As for the Corvette your damn right its a nice car, but it targets middle class people as it consumers with a somewhat low price range. Unfortunatley it does have to sacrifice performance to be an affordable sports car, but for the price that is one hell of a car. As for can't we all get along,.....well no! j/p. I'm not trying to start a fight just trying to make a point.

I was talking to OCUJer and trying to make a point not to you, so I guess that makes you the one who's barging in doesnt it. And yeah I own and drive a truck but I also DRIVE a 350 Camaro. Ohh and last time I checked your car was Jap. not European or American and by no means a Supercar. So I guess that doesn't make you more qualified to answer anything, especially a question that wasn't even directed at you. Does it? Sorry. :flipa:

Yeah the shut the fuck up was after you "barged" in. Hey, and maybe you can beat me in a race. But then again OCUJer and I were comparing European and American cars, we weren't talking about racing each others cars. And in that subject you got owned. And anyone can SAY they have all this shit done to their cars and all but without proof it dont mean shit. So just mind your own buisness and fuck off internet gangsta.
