there aren't any body kits for the second Gen civic that i know of, there are a few for the first gen but anything is extremely hard to get. your best bet is to post at http://www.civic1200.com/discus/ the guys over there will have the best knowledge of this

A guy in my neigborhood has an '83 civic that he mounted '86 or '87 CRX SI bumpers covers on. He just screwed them on, but the WIERD thing is that if it were done right, it might actually look good! Everytime I see him driving around I can't help but think "Why would someone do that", or "Damn, I need that rear bumper" (mine is slightly damaged).
Anyway, just a thought.

get another stock bumper, cut off the bottom 1,2,3,4 whatever inches you want. flip it so the bottom of the new piece matches the bottom of your bumper witch is on your car, screw it together, waalaa. front lip. Haven't actually tried it though

thats what i figured. what i am thinking about doing with mine is remove the bumper and fill the area with some sheet metal and tie it into the stock lower air dam, basically build a bumper that flows right into the fenders. of course i would have to build some structure behind it but i can use the stock bumper mounts for that.
